Visiting Ligna-Hannover 2017
Valresa has been visiting Ligna in Hanover, the world’s largest fair dedicated to equipment, machinery, processing tools and processing for wood. It is a great showcase where you can find large companies dedicated machinery to the timber sector, ranging from forest work to the latest technologies for finishing applications. Many of the developments that we have been able to see first-hand are aimed towards digitization and automation systems for processes control, production and logistics within the plant. What has been coined as Industry 4.0 or smart factory seems to have come to stay and loudly in this and other sectors, Valresa is betting for a long time for this work line, and we are moving into the world of wood through the Singular Surface project of digital printing on wood.
