Fireproof process UPGRADE Bs1d0
It makes the wood fireproof and protects it from fire.
Flame retardant colourless acrylic polyurethane process to modify the reaction to fire classification of a non-flammable wood to a Bs1d0 reaction to fire classification. The process consists of 3 layers of 100050 and one layer of 130140 Matt or 130141 Gloss. Valid for wood based substrates with a density of 510 Kg/m3 or more.
Advantages of the Upgrade flame retardant process
– Bs1d0 approved laboratory certification
– Converts normal wood into fireproof Wood
– Available in 2 gloss grades, Matt and Gloss
– A single catalyst for Sealer and Topcoat
– High resistance to yellowing
– High abrasion and impact resistance
– Easy application
This Reaction to Fire product can be used on interior wall and ceiling cladding boards.
The process consists of three layers of 100050 Tekfoc Wood Upgrade and one layer of 130140 Tekfoc AC Fireproof Clear MT or one coat of 130141 Tekfoc AC Fireproof Clear SB, depending on the desired gloss level.
In addition to being able to finish the parts with these two gloss grades, matt and semi-gloss, it is also possible to mix the two products together to obtain intermediate gloss grades.
